Ugo Hincelin

Research Associate in Astrophysics

texte

Welcome to my professional webpage !

I am a research associate in Eric Herbst's group at the University of Virginia (Charlottesville, USA).

My research focuses on the modeling of the chemistry during the first stages of stellar formation. I am particularly interested in the coupling of physical and chemical numerical codes, in order to follow the evolution of the matter during the early stages of star formation. I mainly use the full chemical gas-grain code Nautilus, and 3D hydrodynamical models such as RAMSES.

I did my PhD thesis in France at the Laboratory of Astrophysics of Bordeaux in the team Astrochemistry of Molecules and ORigins of planetary systems under the supervision of Valentine Wakelam and Stéphane Guilloteau.
